Overnight Reporter

We are seeking an experienced reporter to join our growing newsroom who will cover the overnight shift from approximately midnight to 8 a.m. The reporter will provide breaking and trending news coverage for and about the Chicago metropolitan area for our website, newspaper and our local news wire, which major media outlets rely on for the quick and accurate coverage of local stories. Learn more about this position.

Weekend, Special Projects Editor

We’re looking for a versatile, experienced leader to oversee our Sunday print edition and special sections to ensure that they offer a compelling mix of distinctive must-read stories. It’s an important moment as we reorganize our staffing to continue to break news while focusing even more on enterprising stories and investigations that drive conversation and make a difference. We seek an innovative leader who can lead the visual direction of the Chicago Sun-Times’ editorial products. The Video Editor will assist the Visual, Audience, Marketing and Sales teams with several aspects of video post-production.
