After a whole lot of tears, anxiety, and uncertainty, a proposal DID take place, as did a breakup.

Did Zach Shallcross Get Engaged on The Bachelor Finale? Who Won The Bachelor Season 27?

YES! Zach Shallcross did get engaged during the Season 27 finale. After an emotional beach breakup with Elnicki, Shallcross proposed to Biggar, a 27-year-old ER nurse from Austin, Texas, and she said “ABSOLUTELY.” According to Jesse Palmer, that means Shallcross is the first Bachelor lead to get engaged since Peter Weber in Season 24. Dang! You can follow Biggar on Instagram @kaityylane and read more about her Bachelor journey here.

Are Zach Shallcross And Kaity Biggar Still Together?

All Bachelor Nation’s lingering questions about Shallcross’ current relationship status will be revealed before the three-hour finale concludes at 11 p.m. ET. We’ll be sure to update this piece once we learn more about Shallcross and Biggar.

Was Reality Steve Right About Season 27 of The Bachelor?

Prior to the Season 27 finale, Bachelor Nation’s favorite spoiler Reality Steve reported that Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar were engaged, but in a rare instance of conflicting season spoilers, he acknowledged that another Instagram account was calling Elnicki as the winner.

“Yes, I’m well aware that an Instagram account posted two months ago that Zach was engaged to Gabi. Here’s what I can tell you: I trust my sources just like I assume they trust their sources. It’s now up to you the public to decide who you choose to believe. Personally, I’ll bet on myself,” Reality Steve wrote on February 6. “I don’t reveal my sources or how I get any info. But with another spoiler out there for two months that’s opposite of mine, now we can officially say one of us is dead wrong. Gonna make for a great finale night I tell ya’.”

Though the episode kept us on the edge of our seats, The Bachelor‘s Season 27 finale and “After The Final Rose” episode confirmed that Reality Steve’s intel was correct! Congrats on another successful season, sir.
