At a press conference in Nagpur, Anurag Thakur said, “Misuse of industry will not be tolerated in any way. Such a platform is for freedom of creativity, not for spreading obscenity. So the government is concerned about the rise of objectionable content on OTT. Government will consider if any changes are required in this regard. Everything has a limit, it should not be crossed. Abusiveness, rudeness in the name of art cannot be accepted at all.

Anurag also said that until now, when such complaints are received, it is the producer’s responsibility to deal with such complaints at the initial stage.
