If you’re a fan of true crime podcasts, you may want to check out the satirical comedy Susie Searches, in which Kiersey Clemons stars as Susie Wallis, a college student who hosts a true crime podcast and decides to solve the real-life disappearance of a classmate on her own. The great supporting cast includes Jim Gaffigan, Ken Marino, and Rachel Sennott.

Disney’s live-action remake of The Little Mermaid makes a splash on demand this week, so if you haven’t seen it in theaters, you can check it out on iTunes, Prime Video, and most other major streaming services. Halle Bailey is incredible as Ariel, the mermaid who longs for legs, and the music and supporting cast, including Melissa McCarthy, Daveed Diggs, and Jonah Hauer-King, are equally impressive.
Before Joy Ride was Joy Ride, its working title was Joy F—k Club, which should give you some idea about the film, which is essentially a vacation comedy filled with innuendo, explicit sight gags, and sex with basketball players. In the film, the four main characters, Audrey (Ashley Park), Lolo (Sherry Cola), Kat (Stephanie Hsu), and Deadeye (Sabrina Wu) travel across China and Korea and the trip ends up being a wild ride that emphasizes the importance of female friendship as much as gross-out hilarity.
