India News, Delhi (Government of India bans Chinese apps): The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has banned 232 apps operated by foreign entities, including from China, over allegations of involvement in betting, gambling and illegitimate lending at the direction of the Interior Ministry. Regarding all the banned apps, the government says that these apps threaten the country’s economic stability.

Along with China, many other foreign organizations are also running all these blocking apps. According to the government, the application was closed because it threatened the country’s economic stability. However, 232 applications that have been blocked by the government, the information has not been received at the time of writing this news.

Let me tell you, even before banning this app, the government has banned Chinese apps many times, this list of blocked apps also includes popular apps like PUBG and Camscanner. In addition, the government has blocked 117 Chinese apps operated by foreign entities including China in September 2020 citing data security concerns.
