Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘Jersey’ was released on April 22 last year. Even though the movie failed at the box office, Shahid Kapoor, who plays the main character of the movie, has not been seen to comment on it so far.

After almost a year, Shahid Kapoor opened up about the failure of the movie ‘Jersey’. Talking to Indian Express, Shahid Kapoor said – ‘My heart is broken. It was a really good movie. I think the universe has not been kind to us. The release of the movie was delayed for four months after the release of the song.

Mrunal Tagore acted opposite Shahid in the movie ‘Jersey’. Pankaj Kapoor, Rituraj Singh, Vinay Varma and others also acted in this sports-drama genre movie.

Referring to cinema as fast food, the actor said, “I realized with ‘Jersey’ that cinema is like fast food. It should be eaten immediately. If you delay, the fun is gone. We have not faced a situation like Corona crisis before. So I don’t know what we should do. Unexpectedly, it made us suffer.’
