YouTube channel Bad Lip Reading at the weekend released a spoof spot that imagined how Republican Ron DeSantis may try to kickstart his 2024 presidential campaign.

And it does not go well for the Florida governor.

Clever editing sees DeSantis, who is trailing frontrunner Donald Trump in the polls by around 30%, cackling maniacally and talking absolute nonsense.

There’s also a subtle nod to DeSantis’ previous support of his now-rival Trump.
