Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ administration on Friday stripped the Orlando Performing Arts Center’s liquor license in retaliation for hosting a holiday-themed drag show in December.

The Orlando Philharmonic Plaza Foundation “knowingly welcomed” attendees under 18 to see “A Drag Queen Christmas,” in violation of Florida law, a 27-page complaint filed by the state’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation alleges.

DeSantis, a far-right Republican, has continued his war against drag performers and members of the LGBTQ community, including allegations of child abuse during his run for the White House.

The civil complaint acknowledged that a sign at a venue called The Plaza Live warned adults about bringing minors with them but claimed it was “slightly visible.”

The sign clearly directed parents to make their own decisions—which DeSantis hailed as a “fundamental right” in parenting.

The December 28 event was billed as the 8th Annual Holiday Drag Show. Photos from the event show at least two children being carried into the audience. The complaint also contained still images of the stage; Featuring a screen pointing to a holiday wreath. Others saw shirtless men and costumed drag queens who wore kilts.

The Orlando Philharmonic Plaza Foundation did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Among the songs performed was “Screudolph the Red-Nippled Reindeer,” which, according to the complaint, featured the following song: “Then one wet Christmas Eve, Santa came to say, ‘Screudolph is so bright with your nipples that you won’t guide my sleigh. tonight?’

A representative of the Florida Department of Business Regulation told the Orlando Sentinel that the location may continue to sell alcohol while the complaint is processed.

The complaint outlines six civil counts of violations of Florida law relating to obscene material that may be viewed by minors. No criminal charges have been filed.
