Marcelino Valerio, 80, shot dead in the Bronx

An 80-year-old man was shot and killed on the streets of the Bronx Sunday morning.

Marcelino Valerio was at the corner of West 168 Street and Ogden Avenue in the Highbridge section when shots rang out around 1:10 a.m., police said.

Valerio, who lived about ten blocks away, was shot in the head and pronounced dead, according to the NYPD.
