Mamata’s call to remove BJP from India

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, leader of the ruling Trinamool Congress, has called for the expulsion of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from the country. He called for the agitation from a sit-in program held under the Gandhi statue on Kolkata’s Red Road on Wednesday to protest the central government’s deprivation.

Mamata said ‘BJP will not come to power in 2024. How will they win the next day? Earlier when they came to power it was peak time. Their peak time is gone. They had alliances with 17 political parties, but today 16 have left them. What will they do alone? Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Odisha, West Bengal, Punjab, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Delhi – where will they get seats?’

The Trinamool Congress leader said, ‘If we want to save the country, if we want to save the common people or if we want to save the democracy, we have to remove them from the country.’

And calling on the opposition political parties to unite in this fight, Mamata said, ‘I think, to oust the BJP from the country, all the opposition political parties should fight as an alliance and fight successfully.’

He said, ‘There will be no fight for who will be the leader here. This fight is to protect the country. This fight will be BJP vs common people. It will be a one to one fight. BJP has to leave its throne.’

Mamata complained, ‘BJP is running a conspiracy to destroy the federal structure.’

Mamata made a novel protest from this day’s sit-in program. He brought a washing machine and put black clothes in it, and took out white clothes from that machine. In fact, Mamata compared BJP to a washing machine and wanted to understand that all corruption and black marks are removed by going to BJP.
