Logan Paul wins at SummerSlam and Jake Paul beats Nate Diaz in boxing bout

It was a winning night for the Paul brothers.

First, Logan Paul beat Ricochet on Saturday night at WWE’s SummerSlam at Ford Field in Detroit.

Of course, the 28-year-old social media personality and part-time WWE star had some help from brass knuckles.

As for the 26-year-old Jake Paul, he beat Nate Diaz by unanimous decision in their 10-round bout later in the night at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

The result clearly did not please the sellout crowd who was rooting for the 38-year-old MMA star Diaz, who was making his professional boxing debut.

But Jake Paul had at least one fan in the building, his brother Logan, who hopped on his private jet after his SummerSlam win and walked Jake out out for his fight.

“I’m not changing, I’m not getting a medical check, I’m going right to the f—ing jet,” Logan told ESPN’s Marc Raimondi. “No shower, no nothing. Immediate from A to B to C. … I’ve never missed a Jake Paul fight, and I don’t plan on missing a Jake Paul fight. He’s my little brother, and I want to support him in the biggest moments of his life.”

And his younger brother didn’t disappoint as the judges scored it 97-92, 98-91 and 98-91, all in favor of Jake.

Like his older brother, the ever-confident Jake, who knocked down Diaz in the fifth round, said he was sure he won the fight and thought he only dropped one round.

“Although he’s a warrior, you know? I had him hurt in the first round, he kept on coming and no one’s taken that much damage,” Paul said.

The younger Paul, who improved to 7-1 in his boxing career, said he was impressed with the grit Diaz displayed.

“He’s real tough,’’ Paul said of Diaz. “That’s what he’s known for. But tough in this sport doesn’t work.”

Paul, who rebounded from his first loss (to Tommy Fury in February), also extended his string of victories over MMA fighters.

He previously beat Ben Askren with a first-round knockout, topped Tyron Woodley by decision and by sixth-round knockout and outlasted Anderson Silva by unanimous decision.

Though Jake’s win was decisive and not pre-planned, Logan showed he always has marketing on his mind.

During his SummerSlam bout, he found time to plug Prime sports drink during his match with Ricochet.

Love them or hate them, the beat goes on for the Paul brothers.
