Rahul Gandhi said in Jammu that when the Pandit delegation went to meet Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, in the meeting the Lieutenant Governor said that this Pandit should not beg. Lieutenant Governor Pandit is not begging from you, he is only asking for his rights. Lieutenant Governor should apologize to Pandit Kashmir.

Last year, four Kashmiri Pandits were killed in separate attacks targeted by terrorists, sparking fear and anger among the people. Many migrant workers have also been targeted by such attacks. Attacks on Kashmiri Pandits and civilians have raised questions over the government’s claims of greater security in the state.
