Kate Hudson Disgusted by Dane Cook Kissing Question in Lie Detector Test: “No. Canceled!

Kate Hudson kissed Dane Cook goodbye with a brutal roast in one of Vanity Fair’s famous lie detector tests. The actress, who paired up with her Glass Onion costar Janelle Monae to spill her secrets in a Dec. 29 video posted to the magazine’s YouTube channel, dissed Cook while reflecting on her past onscreen loves.

While being asked to rate her movie makeouts, Hudson was presented with a photo of Cook, her costar from 2008’s My Best Friend’s Girl. Hudson couldn’t even bring herself to rank their kiss, and simply laughed as she said, “Oh, no. No. Canceled!”

With that, she moved on, tossing Cook’s photo out of sight — and honestly, we don’t blame her. Cook previously dragged Hudson for her kissing skills, claiming “she purposely ate like a feast of onions before our scene,” and adding, “I had to burn her on that one!”

He made the comments during a 2014 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, but reversed course earlier this year. Cook claimed he and Hudson had “so much fun” making the film and said the two “were pals” while speaking on Steve-O’s Wild Ride podcast in October, per Page Six.

While Cook didn’t earn high marks with Hudson — who clearly doesn’t think Cook is her “pal” — she did name her best onscreen kiss of all. Beating out Matthew McConaughey and Billy Crudup was Liv Tyler, who shared a smooch with Hudson in 2000’s Dr. T & the Women.

“She beats them all. To this day, we are like, ‘Why didn’t we go for it more with our making out?’” Hudson said. “She has the softest lips of them all. Oh my God, those lips, those Tyler lips.”
