Israel launched airstrikes in the besieged Gaza Strip. No casualties have been reported yet.

The attack targeted Al Shati refugee camp in the Gaza Strip late on Wednesday (February 22).

According to international media, Israeli forces killed 11 Palestinians in an operation in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus on Wednesday morning local time. In response, multiple rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip. No one claimed responsibility for firing the rocket.

Later that night, the Israeli forces launched an airstrike on the Al Shati refugee camp in the Gaza Strip. No casualty has yet been reported in the attack. Recently, the Israeli forces have been carrying out almost daily operations in the name of breaking the armed resistance in the West Bank. Many Palestinians are losing their lives, particularly in Jenin and Nablus.

So far this year, 61 Palestinians, including 13 children, have been killed by Israeli forces. More than 170 Palestinians were killed in Israeli operations last year.

Note that in 1967, after the six-day war, Israel occupied the West Bank of Palestine.
