Directed by Zach Braff, A Good Person brings a star-studded cast featuring Florence Pugh, Morgan Freeman and Molly Shannon to a theater near you. Luckily, we have you covered on how you can watch it.

The movie follows Pugh’s character — a woman whose perfect life is turned upside down when she survives a tragic accident, leaving her with an “opioid addiction and unresolved grief.”

However, she slowly starts working toward putting her life back together when she forms a close bond with her would-be father-in-law, played by Freeman.

So where can you watch A Good Person? Will it be on HBO Max? What about Netflix?

Here’s everything we know about the upcoming movie:

WHERE TO WATCH A GOOD PERSON:

As of now, the only way to watch A Good Person is to head out to a movie theater when it releases on Friday, March 24. You can find a local showing on Fandango. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait for it to become available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Prime Video, Vudu, Apple or YouTube.

WHEN WILL A GOOD PERSON BE ON STREAMING?

While a digital release date for A Good Person has not yet been announced, we can make an estimate based on the last film distributed under Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.

Fighting with My Family, which also stars Pugh, was released in theaters on Feb. 14, 2019, before it came to digital platforms on April 30, 2019 — just over two months since its debut. If A Good Person follows the same trajectory, you may be able to watch from the comfort of your home by late May or early June 2023.

WILL A GOOD PERSON BE ON HBO MAX?

No, A Good Person will not be on HBO Max since it’s not a Warner Bros. movie. The company announced last year that they would no longer send their theatrical films directly to the streamer. Instead, they’ve implemented a 45-day window between theatrical premieres and HBO Max releases.

WILL A GOOD PERSON BE ON NETFLIX?

No, A Good Person will not be on Netflix — at least not anytime soon. In the meantime, you’ll just have to head out to a movie theater or wait for it to become available on digital platforms.
