Harry and Meghan are ‘struggling right now’

Best-selling author Deepak Chopra has said that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are “struggling right now” as their long-lived feud with the royal family rages on.

The Indian-American author, who knows the Duke and Duchess of Sussex personally after appearing on their holiday special podcast in 2020, says the exiled royals aren’t doing too well in the run-up to King Charles’ coronation.

“I enjoyed the podcast and interacted with them. It has been periodic – they’re struggling right now,” he told Daily Mail.

“I hope they get through it light-hearted,” he went on. “I think there’s too much drama around them. People should mind their own business.”

Chopra, whose book “The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success” was on The New York Times Best Seller list for 72 weeks, gave Harry some sound advice as he prepares to travel to the UK for King Charles’ coronation and see his family for the first time since the release of his protocol-shattering memoir “Spare.”

“My advice is to ignore it because if you react you’ll just aggravate the situation,” Chopra said of the backlash to their fallout with the royal family. “If you ignore it, people can’t say anything, then they’ll stop.”

Buckingham Palace announced Wednesday that Prince Harry will attend his father’s coronation. However, Meghan and the couple’s children, Archie and Lilibet, will stay back in California.

Notably, May 6 is also Prince Archie’s fourth birthday.

“Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that the Duke of Sussex will attend the coronation service at Westminster Abbey on May 6,” an official statement said. “The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.”

It’s believed Archie and Lilibet were not invited to attend the coronation, which reportedly didn’t go down too well with the exiled royals.

It’s said that the King is “very disappointed” that the Duchess of Sussex will skip the ceremony.

The coronation will see His Majesty formally crowned following his ascension to the throne in September after the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II — Britain’s longest-reigning monarch.
