Even AOC Can’t Believe Netflix Crashed During ‘Love Is Blind’ Live Reunion

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has entered the waiting room for Netflix‘s Love Is Blind Season 4 reunion. Or she’s trying to anyways!

The New York congresswoman was one of many Love Is Blind fans who found themselves still waiting for Netflix’s live reunion special to begin more than 30 minutes after the set start time of 8 p.m. ET on Sunday. Why? Netflix crashed ahead of the highly-anticipated event!

In case you had any doubt that AOC was a true Love Is Blind fan, the congresswoman tweeted, “Someone call Lucia the seamstress to fix this. I believe in her,” while waiting for the livestream to begin.

As true Season 4 fans know, Lucia is the seamstress who saved contestant Brett Brown’s pants in the finale, and thus, saved his entire wedding day. So AOC proved herself to be a real one in just 12 words.

If there’s one Twitter user Netflix doesn’t want to upset, it’s AOC, queen of comebacks.

Despite promises from Netflix that the live special would start at 8:15 p.m. ET the reunion has yet to begin airing at 8:36 p.m. ET, and fans — including Queer Eye‘s Karamo Brown — are starting to get restless.

The Season 4 reunion will be Netflix’s first live reunion special — and second live broadcast in history after Chris Rock’s comedy special in March — so it’s clear the streamer still has some major work to do before making live events a regular part of its programming.

Love Is Blind Season 4 (including the reunion special) is currently streaming on Netflix.
