Russian President Vladimir Putin has said many of the provisions of China’s peace plan could be adopted as a basis for settling the Ukraine war, whenever the West and Kiev are ready.

BBC reported that Putin made this comment after the second meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday.

At the time, Putin said that he and Xi focused on Beijing’s peace proposal during their private meeting.

He also said, “If the UK sends munitions with radioactive uranium to Ukraine, Russia will be forced to react.”

Chinese President Xi Jinping, newly elected for the third term, went to Moscow on Monday for a meeting with Putin.
