After getting bail, the Congress leader shaved his head in the court

Calcutta High Court lawyer and National Congress leader Kaustab Bagchi has been arrested by the Battala police. He was arrested on Saturday (March 4) from his house in Barrackpore of Uro 24 Parganas district.

A person named Sumit Singh filed a complaint against Kostav at Kolkata Battala police station on Friday (March 3) for making bad comments about West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Kaustav was arrested on Friday night soon after receiving the complaint.

It is known that the Battala police station filed a case against Kausthav under several non-bailable charges including threats, molestation and incitement. Then Kaustab was taken to the Calcutta Bankshall Court. There, the police requested to take Koustov in their custody till March 10.

After listening to the lawyers of the plaintiff and the defendant, the judge adjourned the verdict for a while. Then at 5:10 pm, the judge granted bail to the Congress leader subject to conditions.

Congress leader Kaustav Bagchi came out of the Bankshal court on Saturday night, March 4, shortly after the court’s verdict.

After getting bail, he announced a big oath challenging West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

Kaustav said, ‘I said during the arrest that I will shave my head after getting bail. I will shave my head now, I will not grow hair till I can topple Mamata Banerjee’s government. A tougher fight is coming, Mamata Banerjee will lose her sleep this time.’

As soon as he announced this, he sat on the ground in the court premises. A man was summoned to cut his hair (shaking) in the court premises. He shaved the head of the lawyer Congress leader.

Kaustabh warned West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee with a hairless head, ‘This time I will make Mamata Banerjee and her government breakfast in a court battle. This is the victory of democracy loving people. Today, the people of Bengal once again got to know the Chief Minister better.
