Aditya Thackeray said in a meeting that if Chief Minister Eknath Shinde thinks that I am very popular leader then I challenge him if he has guts to stand against me from Worli Mumbai assembly seat. Attacking the CM, faction leader Uddhav Sanjay Raut said the Chief Minister considers himself a great revolutionary. He was challenged by a 32 year old youth to fight against him. CM Shinde has to accept this challenge and contest against Aditya.

The dispute continued even after the split in the Shiv Sena

After the split of the Shiv Sena, the struggle between the two groups still cannot be said to have ended. Uddhav Thackeray faction leader Aditya Thackeray has challenged Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to compete in the assembly elections. Aditya Thackeray says if he has guts then challenge me in assembly elections. Aditya Thackeray is the son of Uddhav Thackeray, President of Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (Uddhav faction). Aditya Thackeray said Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is an unconstitutional Chief Minister.
