Kapil has come a long way from being an art-loving youngster in Amritsar to being the face of the ‘Great Indian Laughter Challenge’. But did he put too much pressure on himself? Because of which he was very depressed. Addiction was also created in alcohol. One job after another was cancelled, which the comedian regrets today.

Kapil had to undergo long psychiatric treatment. He was also undergoing treatment to recover from alcohol addiction. In a recent interview, Kapil told about the ups and downs of his life.

He said, “I used to drink so much that I could not go to the shooting on time. I could not work even if I went. A lot of work has gone into this. I missed the opportunity to work with Ajay Devgan. At the end, Shahrukh Khan pulled the trigger.”
