Virat said this on the YouTube channel of long-time teammate AB de Villiers in IPL. According to him, after scoring a century in Ahmedabad, he has changed a lot mentally. Virat says, “When I scored a hundred in Ahmedabad, a strange peace came over me. peace of liberation No pressure was acting on the mind during the exercise. All in all, the mind was much more cheerful.”

After scoring a hundred in Asia Cup in white-ball cricket, Virat had to wait longer to score big runs in red-ball cricket. He was looking forward to do well in the test. He was shaking inside. Virat said, “I had contact with de Villiers. He knows how much I value Test cricket. Although I scored a hundred in white ball cricket, I was struggling for a hundred in red ball cricket. Finally got it.”

Virat was getting runs even if he didn’t get a hundred. But the former Indian captain was not happy with that. He thinks that scoring a hundred means being useful to the team. He could not do that. He was upset. Virat said, “I was getting runs. But I was not happy. I wanted to be useful to the team. Because, to make a hundred means to be able to put a pressure on the opponent. I managed to do that in Ahmedabad.”

Despite scoring big runs in the Test against Australia, no runs have come from Virat’s bat in the one-day series yet. He failed in the first two ODIs. The ODI series is 1-1. The two teams will play the third ODI in Chennai on Wednesday. The series will be decided in that match.
